259 participants at the 2026 Academy trials

Olutsha Rugby Academy launched in May 2025 with 173 participants and has continued to grow.

The 2026 Under-16 and Under-19 trials were held over two days at two venues, attracting 259 participants.

The Academy provides structured rugby development for boys in the Border Rugby Union District of the Eastern Cape, focused on fundamental skills, discipline, confidence and a clear pathway into club and representative rugby.
